I’m a recent BFA Concordia graduate where I studied ceramics and sculpture.
My work explores our desire for connection and our unconscious mimicking of patterns, structures and textures found on a cellular and micro-organic level. We cannot escape the relationship between outside nor our innate tendency to seek connections with nature even as it’s disappearing. We live in an era of disconnection and loss. What is the depth of our sorrow if we don’t change this? I want my art to help people connect to community, history and the natural world.
As a writer and editor my focus is writing about the environment, the mysteries of health trends, describing the best place to travel and discussions on how to make our gardens grow. I’m currently finishing a fictional novel. Read some of my articles here.
